What to Put in Finals Care Package

Everyone brought great items to put in the boxes.

Treats for our smart cookies.

Have to have some “Smart Water.”

A little snowman soup to keep them warm while they study. The printable in the library says “Snowman Soup to Keep You Warm.”

Love these emoji stress balls!

Encouraging thoughts coming their way.

Love that the kids will be home soon.

A filled and decorated box.
How to Mail Your Care Packages:
I recommend Medium Flat Rate boxes from the post office. The boxes are free. You can pick them up before you make your boxes. They cost $15.50 to mail regardless of the weight.

OH my goodness I LOVE THIS!! I remember in college my roommate’s mom would send her packages covered in smiley face stickers with little simple gifts inside. Like snacks from grocers we only had in Houston, and not in Lubbock, or little things she saw while shopping that she new would brighten her day. Even though it wasn’t my mom, or my gifts, even just seeing the packages coming in covered in optimism and filled with home really was a mood booster for our entire four suite dorm room.
I LOVE themed care packages. As soon as my son started looking at colleges, I started pinning ideas! He decided to go somewhere near home (which we’re thrilled about), but no care packages. 🙁 I’ve sent several to family friends, though, to get my fix!
Great ideas.
